Alexandre Dos Santos is a fourth-year, Bachelor of Arts student with distinction at the University of Toronto, specializing in Political Science and History. He is also a Compliance Analyst, under the direct supervision of Professor John Kirton, and Executive Director of Communications for the G8 Student Research Group. These positions involve reporting on the participation of global leaders in humanitarian aid, environmental efforts, and non-governmental organization relations.

In addition, Alexandre worked with the Canadian Center for the Responsibility to Protect where he helped coordinate a conference commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the Rwandan Genocide. Aside from volunteering for the G(irls)20 research team, Alexandre also volunteers as Outreach Coordinator for the University of Toronto Portuguese Association where he leads bilingual events designed to encourage elementary and secondary students to recognize the value of a post-secondary education.
