Name: Isabella Rossi
Country: Italy
Isabella is a freshman at Bocconi University in Milan, where she is doing her Bachelor in International Economics, Management and Finance. She has always been interested in human rights and politics and in 2010 she became part of the newborn Italian organization Parlamento Europeo degli Studenti (PES), whose aim is to raise the voice of young citizens to European Institutions. It is within this organization Isabella has met other students with whom to discuss the themes she remains so passionate about, trying to come up with concrete solutions, and to think locally.
Isabella then went to Strasbourg where she presented these ideas to members of the European Parliament, the Council of Europe and the European Court of Justice. She has since then founded a PES group at her school, which dealt with the information young people receive.
Isabella has always loved meeting people from different countries and backgrounds, since her very first exchange experience with Australia.
Isabella believes only a good team can support a good idea that would otherwise stay abstract and useless – she hopes to manage a team of her own one day.
