Amanda Alvaro is the founding Managing Director of Narrative Advocacy Media. Over her career, she has worked on brand development, marketing, advertising and public relations for a diverse range of business, government and not-for-profit organizations including; Scotiabank, WIND Mobile, Rethink Breast Cancer and Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. She is known for her ability to build corporate and executive reputations and has provided counsel to small and mid-cap companies in various industries, including education, automotive, finance, health care, and telecommunications.
Before joining Narrative and the Bensimon Byrne team, Amanda worked as the Sr. Communications and Issues Advisor for Ontario’s Minister of Education and served as the Sr. Media Advisor to Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty in the 2007 provincial election.
Amanda is a regular commentator for print, radio and broadcast news outlets. She is a founding member of Ad Women of Toronto, Chair of Ad Ball 2010 and serves on a variety of boards and fundraising committees, including Innovators Ball, Power Ball and Artbound.
