Amy Hawke
Administrative Assistant & Delegate Communications
Amy is excited to be a new addition to the G(irls)20 Summit team and is looking forward to the challenge. She comes from a diverse working background that started in Film and Television Production that would eventually lead her into the world of charity. Amy started traveling when she was 18 years old, and to truly immerse herself into each different country’s cultures, backpacked her way through 3 continents. It was on her last backpack through Africa, where she found her passion for working with the underprivileged. Having been to university for Film, Amy uses the eye of a lens to tell the human story and continues to do so in all her travels. It was in Kenya, Africa where she was impressed by a makeshift school set among the trees of Maweni Village, and with her twin sister decided to help teach, build and fundraise for over 300 children who vied education as their most precious gift. It has been 6 years and with the creation of Hope 4 Help, Baharini Primary School now has over 1000 children and is recognized by the government of Kenya.
