Luka is currently in her last year of high school in Germany. For years, she has participated in an environmental student group campaigning green initiatives in her school. Since the age of 3 , Luka has been a part of a World Vision project that empowers young people to engage in political discussions focusing on the Millennium development goals and the post-MDG process. Over the last few years she has traveled to several youth forums in Germany, Romania and Istanbul, where international young people meet to discuss and develop ideas mostly on the area of development aid.

Joining the Global Youth Network from World Vision, Luka connects youth engagement projects from all over the world to develop a global voice of young people, while also participating in a scholarship program called Schülerkolleg International that helps young students to have an international career and work on the topic of integration.

This past year Luka’s life changed after spending time with children of an orphanage in Moldova, renovating sanitary facilities. This experience motivated her to elevate her voice for all those that are unheard.
