Mariana has a dream to change the world for girls and women everywhere.

Currently studying Marketing Management in ISCTE Business School in Lisbon, Mariana joined AIESEC, an international student run organization that promotes peace and fulfillment of humankind potential. AIESEC is a true leadership academy that creates future leaders; this is where Mariana worked in Communications in a Project Manager role.

A well rounded student, Mariana also spends much of her time participating in extra-curricular activities. Between roller-skating, gymnastics, ballroom dancing and 7 years of Piano training, Mariana has always followed the rhythm of her heart.

In 2012, she became a transformer! through the British Council’s Global Changemakers program to change the way society looks to kids. Turning Teens into transformers! creates people capable of art, sport and activity to use as a catalyst for a positive change in their society.

Mariana believes that “education should be accessible to every single person in the world.” And she intends to make it happen.
